Terms of use
Last updated · May 2026
Free site, public data, editorial commentary. Use it the way you’d use any aggregator: as a starting point, not a source of truth.
By using Steam Ranker you agree to these terms. If you don’t, the close-tab button is right there and we won’t take it personally.
Steam Ranker is a free, ad-supported tool that polls public Steam APIs every 15 minutes and aggregates the results. We’re not affiliated with Valve Corporation and we don’t speak for any developer or publisher whose game appears here.
How the sausage is made
Data is pulled from public APIs and can be stale, missing, or wrong. Steam itself periodically purges reviews, hides listings, and changes how data is exposed; that propagates here. We do not warrant that anything on this site is complete, accurate, or current.
Editorial summaries on the news tab are AI-generated. Google Gemini writes headlines and short context paragraphs grounded in our internal metrics and recent web search results. The grounding is real; the prose can still hallucinate, misattribute causes, or get tense wrong. Treat every headline as a starting point and verify before quoting.
If you see something wrong, whether numbers, framing, misidentification, anything, the “You got that wrong?!” section on the about page explains how to flag it. We fix what we can verify.
Whose name is on what
Game names, capsule art, and screenshots are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners. We use them under nominative fair use for the purpose of identifying and commenting on games. The only practical way to write about a game is to show its name and cover.
If you’re a rights holder and want a specific listing removed or corrected, email info@steamranker.com and we’ll handle it.
Be cool
The legal bit
Steam Ranker is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that the site will work tomorrow.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. If a court somehow finds us liable anyway, total liability is capped at zero dollars (since that’s what you paid for this).
Changes and where to reach us
If we update these terms meaningfully, the “Last updated” date at the top moves. Continued use after that counts as acceptance of the new version.
Questions, corrections, or takedown requests, write to info@steamranker.com.
